We started working with Barclays on LED when Manchester United became the first UK team to use the technology in 2003. As the Premier League’s perimeters were progressively switched over to the new format, this became a much larger task. We undertook long and detailed TV camera tests to ensure that the company brand appears correctly to television audiences. All campaigns are designed to ensure that the message and branding are consistent across all twenty Premier League teams, despite their widely-ranging system specifications.
